Indole-3-Carbinol is produced from the breakdown of glucobrassicin, which is a compound found in high concentrations in cruciferous vegetables such as brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, and kale. It may be used to help decrease the risk of cancer, treat systematic lupus erythematosus, manage fibromyalgia, fight infections, support the immune system, balance hormone levels, improve breast health, support reproductive organs, and detoxify the intestines and liver.
